Thank You To The Women In My Life

Today is International Women’s Day and I am joined by my daughter Jadyn.
This day is a reminder of how incredibly fortunate we are, to live in a country where we are free to be our weird quirky selves and to follow our dreams. I know there are still many imperfections in our culture, but today I choose to celebrate and be grateful.

Thank you to my daughter Jadyn who knows no prejudice and understands respect for all.
Thank you to every woman who has supported me, celebrated my wins along the way and has been there for me in my darkest messy times and continued to love me through it all.

knowing that every man, woman and child have value and rights…just because.

Once again, such a wonderful post! I am grateful for the time that I get to spend with my wonderful Mother in law. Just spent the afternoon with her in the nursing home. She suffers from dementia but we still have fun together. I know these good times wont last but I treasure our time together! Have a great day, Yvonne!

Thank you, Michelle. The change begins with us, and children can and should be a part of that change. If we guide them in the direction of empowerment, inclusion and rights for all... they will become the adults who won't settle for anything less! :)
