Sadie is Home... Because You Just Showed Up!

Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here from Love Your Life to Death.

I am at the top of an incredible mountain.
We are on The Gladstone trail in Kelowna with Geordie (who is back there
holding the camera). We have been in Kelowna for the last week,
and the day after we arrived, our dog Sadie ran away from poor
Grandma and was missing for four days.

My mom was distraught,
we were as well and it was a very challenging time. But we were still
able to enjoy our vacation and do wonderful hikes because you
(our community) Just Showed Up for us, for Sadie and for my mom.

There was thousands of shares on social media, posters and flyers
were put up, people were getting into cars and driving around.
There is so much concern, love and support in our small town and
we are so grateful for everyone.

From the bottom of my heart, from Geordie’s heart and my mom.

THANK YOU for Just Showing Up,
for helping to bring Sadie home safely so we can enjoy our last
​day and a half of vacation without worrying.

That is because of you.
You Just Showed Up for us.

We will be forever grateful.
