I am an ally and a voice for change. I have been angry, sad, devastated and discouraged. I still am and now I am choosing to educate myself further so I can be an ally and a voice for change. I am taking a knee and invited you to do the same. Here are two TED Talks that can help you to become more aware. For George Floyd and for all whose lives were taken. Wow Yvonne! I was so moved by Baratunde's TED talk - he made me realize that I can promote positive change. He did it with humour, but boy, he really made essential points that we need to take into our lives every day. Thanks for all you do Yvonne.

Hello my lovely friend, I felt the very same way. I've watched it twice then again with my children. Everyone should watch and learn. And yes, bringing forth such an empowering message with heart and humour is the best way to deliver it. Baratunde certainly showed us how. I love him!!!

Thanks for your "action" on these current issues of society today, and encouraging everyone to pause, listen, really listen, and think before taking further action. We all need to process our thoughts, our inner biases (and we all have them!) and consider a better path forward to live together in peace. These videos are excellent and to the point. In all the work I've done with people from around the world and often on their turf, I have learned to respect people for who they are inside (their heart, their mind, their emotions and empathy for others), and not judge a person by the colour of their skin, the clothing they wear, the rituals they embrace. I know that black lives matter, brown lives matter and all shades leading to the other end of the spectrum ... white. Together we are better!

Thanks for those 2 videos, Yvonne. They both offer a glimmer of light and hope to know that there are individuals out there who can deliver such important messages in such an articulate, and often humorous, way. So needed right now! Hope they both go viral!!

Thank you, Julie. I couldn't agree more. We need to bring our heart, our humour, kindness and learn to be better. We can do this... together! I am grateful for those who are willing to be a voice and help us learn!
