100 Women Who Care Muskoka

I am back at Hunter’s Bay Radio studio and had an amazing interview with
Valerie Fleck who shares: I am a resident of Port Carling and along with my partner Dayle Ross, we started a group called,
100 Women Who Care Muskoka.

The concept is simple; women get together four times a year and each bring $100.00. We crowd source that money together and donate it to local charities.

It is the most brilliant, amazing and generous idea. I love the whole concept.
These women have already given thousands of dollars to the
Muskoka Women's Advocacy Group and Muskoka Victim Services, and
just last week Hospice Muskoka was the recipient of $10,000.00!

Yes, it happened really fast. We only started this is March 2018
and our last donation was $10600.00, which was fantastic! It really makes
a big impact in a community when a small charity receives a big donation.
We encourage more members and other charities to sign up or to learn more.
