Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here from Love Your Life to Death.
I am absolutely so honoured to share a link to my latest show with Annemarie Shrouder with you today. Annemarie is one of the most extraordinary I know and I am privileged to call my friend and mentor. She is changing lives. She is a champion for diversity and inclusion, and helping people understand how to create social change at a much deeper level. She has written a book called Being Brown in a Black and White World. I have read this book over and over and highlighted and learned so much, and I will continue to learn, to educate myself and to be a voice for change. I encourage each and every one of you to get this book, Being Brown in a Black and White World, to watch the show and visit her website where she has newsletters and great information. She supports everyone to create change. Each and everyone one of us is responsible to be a part of that change. Every voice is needed. Thank you Annmarie for all you do to make the world a better place. I am honoured to call you my friend. I encourage everyone to keep learning and be a voice for change. Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here with Love Your Life to Death.
I have often talked about the fact that we need to be intentional about creating our own happiness, joy and bringing that into our lives. We have been VERY intentional about that, especially in the last 18 months in this pandemic. Many of you have met Miss Sadie, our adoptive whoodle, and has turned out to be a wonderful dog. Then we thought we needed to create even more… so we moved back to Huntsville, into a lovely new home with a fireplace and we are very happy. So, one more thing we added to have a bit more joy, was to adopt two little kittens! Why? Because kittens add a lot of joy! I am introducing you to Calvin and Hobbes, our 9 week old kittens. I am so delighted. First our kids love the kittens and also one of the things I know is that when our kids leave after grade 12, I will be grieving tremendously so these kittens are also for me (and of course Geordie… who loves them as well in spite of himself) I love these kittens. I would encourage everyone to get a pet, and if you cannot, find other ways to create more happiness in your life. For us, we are going to create some joy in your life by sharing our two kittens Calvin and Hobbes who are spectacular. Enjoy some of these pictures! Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here with Love Your Life to Death.
It is fall here in Muskoka, and I LOVE the changing of the seasons. It has been an amazing fall, the trees have been extraordinary, and the leaves are yellow, orange and glowing red. Now with that joy, also comes the grief. The letting go, the raking of the leaves, (and we have several to rake). There are lots of work, and that is OK. I see the changing of the seasons as an opportunity. Getting rid of the old and starting new again. We are getting ready for the next season which is winter. I choose to embrace winter and to prepare for it before it arrives. I remember with the changing of the seasons, everything is temporary. When life is wonderful, I celebrate it, knowing that things will change (Bless You!) And when I am challenged… I know that is also temporary and things will change again. That is what the seasons remind me of. I would love to hear what you think about fall and winter coming and what you are celebrating! Enjoy your leaves! Hi everyone, Geordie here from Love Your Life to Death.
Sometimes we all need a pep talk. (I know I do!) A friend recently shared this video with me from "The Kid President" and I wanted you to see it as well. I think it will make you smile. As you are watching the video, I would encourage you to take some time to reflect on the last few weeks. After the video, I ask you... Will this change your perspective on the next few weeks? How did the pep talk help you? Share your favourite part of the video in the comments section. Have a great week everyone! I am sitting here with my friend Lucas on September 30th, 2021. Today is the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation here in Canada where we honour the lives lost and the children who died in our residential schools in the past, and the trauma that continues on in their families and communities. Please watch this short video and I would encourage you to reach out, share your thoughts and learn more below. Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here with Love Your Life to Death.
I am sitting in my new home with my dog Sadie (who is my office mate) Today we are celebrating! We are looking back at September 16th 2015, it was the day we launched my book Love Your Life to Death. I have to say, so much has changed in our lives since that day. For so many of you I am expressing gratitude because you purchased my book, shared my book and we have sold thousands of copies around the world. The feedback has been so heart warming, and many people have said it has changed their lives and it changed my life. I want to thank every individual who shared their stories (ages 11-101) that I could bring to you to give you a perspective on living well, grieving well and dying well, and to everyone else that has shared my book along the way. For the rest of September, we would like to continue to help others. When you purchase a copy, you can receive a second copy at 50%. That is two books for $30.00 Canadian. Why? because we are celebrating and continuing to share these inspiring stories and it is our way of saying thank you. So thank you everyone, thank you for sharing and thank you for caring. May you always find a way to Love Your Life. How do we do that? Plan your life, plan your death... and always bring your own tambourine to the party! Purchase your BOGO gift here!

Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here from Love Your Life to Death.
I am at the top of an incredible mountain. We are on The Gladstone trail in Kelowna with Geordie (who is back there holding the camera). We have been in Kelowna for the last week, and the day after we arrived, our dog Sadie ran away from poor Grandma and was missing for four days. My mom was distraught, we were as well and it was a very challenging time. But we were still able to enjoy our vacation and do wonderful hikes because you (our community) Just Showed Up for us, for Sadie and for my mom. There was thousands of shares on social media, posters and flyers were put up, people were getting into cars and driving around. There is so much concern, love and support in our small town and we are so grateful for everyone. From the bottom of my heart, from Geordie’s heart and my mom. THANK YOU for Just Showing Up, for helping to bring Sadie home safely so we can enjoy our last day and a half of vacation without worrying. That is because of you. You Just Showed Up for us. We will be forever grateful. Thank you.

Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here with Love Your Life to Death.
This week, I wanted to re-share a past RogersTV episode with you. This is an inspiring heart-to-heart with Maria Kliavkoff. She is the Founder of Healthy Mourning. Most of us have grown up in a grief phobic, mourning avoidant society, so it is no surprise that when faced with the death of a loved one, we don’t know what to do with our grief. As a result, most of us bury and carry our grief for years, and even decades. Healthy Mourning is specially designed to teach everyone how to convert their grief to mourning and move through the grief process with ease and grace. Hi everyone, Yvonne Heath here with Love Your Life to Death.
Geordie and I have just arrived at the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary because yesterday Tanner and Geordie found this little injured bird. This poor little guy looks like he might have some broken legs (or something wrong with his legs). We decided we would do everything we could to help him get the help he needs. We took care of him overnight and arrived here this morning, and it feels really good I have to say. I am also feeling very grateful for those who Just Show Up for injured, abused and abandoned animals. We are going to make a donation today and I just want to say thank you to those to help animals everywhere and hopefully they can help out our little bird friend “Kanye Nest” If you would like to learn more or make a donation to support the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary: please click here To learn more about our Get Ready for Grief online program click here Purchase your copy of Love Your Life to Death, or audiobook here.
