What You Will Take Away after working with Yvonne
- Develop coping skills and strategies to deal with grief, death and dying - before we are facing it—so we can support ourselves, our loved ones, or co-workers.
- Explore their beliefs about life and death, and choose to believe something that will give them comfort when grief arrives.
- Learn to Just Show Up for the grieving, but understand that we must Show Up for Ourselves First.
- Live fully NOW, understanding and accepting that we do not all die of old age or have a dying process.
Together We Will Explore
- The best time to talk about, plan and prepare for grief, death and dying is when we are young and healthy. The next best time is NOW!
- It takes a village to support the ill, the caregiver, the dying, the bereaved and each other.
- What is the best thing you can do? Just Show Up!
- Before you show up for others, make self-care your first priority.
- The greatest gift you can give others is the best version of you, Show Up For Yourself First!
- Structure your life in such a way that you can live without each other.
- Find Your Post - something internally you can hang onto in times of despair.
